Cheesy Spinach Pesto Flatbread Recipe | Easy Recipe

This simple recipe is a hit. Whether you’re hosting a game night, a casual get together with the neighbors, or feeding the family, this spinach pesto cheesy flatbread is the way to go.

Use pre-packaged naan bread to make it super easy, or use homemade naan for a bit of a challenge. Top with mozzarella, pesto (homemade or store-bought), and spinach.

Spinach, mozzarella, and pesto transform a simple naan bread into a delightful pizza-like meal. Use fresh spinach harvests for an extra touch!

Ingredients

  • 2 packaged or homemade naan flatbreads

  • ½ cup basil or oregano pesto

  • 6 ounces fresh mozzarella, shredded

  • ⅓ cup baby spinach

  • Crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Spread pesto over flatbread. Spread mozzarella over the pesto and lay spinach evenly on top of that. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
  • Bake about 10-13 minutes — or until cheese is bubbling. Remove from oven, let cool, and serve.
