Salsa Verde is perfect for dipping your favorite chips or veggies in, or a flavorful addition to your tacos and pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado

  • 1 cup packed parsley and basil leaves (you can substitute thyme, oregano or cilantro)

  • 1 jalapeno, seeds removed

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • Juice of two large limes

  • ½ cup of water

  • ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil

  • ½ cup of pistachios

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Place all ingredients, except nuts, in a food processor. Slowly add pistachios and pulse until smooth.
