Leftover Turkey Waldorf Salad

The Waldorf salad is made with fresh apples, grapes, lettuce and other favorite flavors. This well known salad was first presented at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in 1893. Its flavors stand the test of time and turkey is a great addition.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups of Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey

  • 2 Stalks of Celery

  • 1 Apple
    (Gala or Granny Smith Cored & Chopped)

  • 2/3 Cups of Grapes

  • 1/2 Cup of Pecans

  • 1/2 Cup of Greek Yogurt

  • 1 Teaspoon Honey

  • 1 Fresh Head of Lettuce
    (Preferably from your Gardenuity Garden)

  • Salt (as needed)

Directions

  • In a bowl mix together turkey, celery, fresh lettuce, apple, grapes, and pecans until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the yogurt, honey, and desired amount of salt until well blended.
  • Mix both bowls together and serve over fresh lettuce.
