Melted cheese (parmesan, mozzarella, and feta) on top of a crispy crust topped with fresh greens…it’s a homemade pizza recipe for every Sunday night. Besides, if it has fresh greens on every bite, it’s basically a salad…right?
Ingredients:
1 lb pizza dough, room temperature
Olive oil
12 oz fresh mozzarella, torn into pieces
⅓ cup fresh crumbled feta
½ red onion, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 red Fresco chili, thinly sliced
Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
Red pepper flakes, to taste
½ cups parmesan cheese, shredded
2 cups fresh arugula
½ lemon
How-To:
Preheat oven to 425° F.
Form pizza dough into two circle shapes.
Brush dough with a drizzle of olive oil. Top with torn mozzarella, feta, onion, garlic, and red Fresco chili. Season with salt, pepper, parmesan, and red pepper flakes.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden.
Remove from oven, top with fresh arugula, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and a little fresh lemon juice.
