Salsa Verde is perfect for dipping your favorite chips or veggies in, or a flavorful addition to your tacos and pasta.
1 cup packed parsley and basil leaves (you can substitute thyme, oregano or cilantro)
1 jalapeno, seeds removed
2 garlic cloves
Juice of two large limes
½ cup of water
½ cup of extra virgin olive oil
½ cup of pistachios
Salt to taste
- Place all ingredients, except nuts, in a food processor. Slowly add pistachios and pulse until smooth.
