It’s 5 O’ Clock Somewhere

It is okay to have a stressful day. In a world where most things that were once familiar, now lie in a bed of uncertainty, it can be difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It is important to give yourself the grace to recognize that sometimes you simply need to take a break and do something kind for yourself; something that will help you to relax.

Making a drink, like this margarita, is more than just an excuse to sip something that will take the edge off. Making this recipe is also the perfect way to put your hands to work in your garden; working in your garden is like an instant release of built up pressure. Then, to use your hands to craft something just for you that you will be able to enjoy – this is self care at its finest.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, ask yourself when the last time you did something purely for the sake of enjoyment. You might be shocked to learn that it was all too long ago. Remember, taking time for yourself is not selfish!
