This Fresh Basil & Lime Margarita Recipe brings a natural pair to life – lime & basil. This refreshing recipe is sure to impress even the most sophisticated taste buds.

Ingredients

Basil & Lime Margarita Ingredients
2 oz of your favorite tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
4 basil leaves
1 oz basil simple syrup
Lime wheel for garnish
Kosher salt for glass rim
Basil Simple Syrup
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
5 fresh basil leaves

Directions

Basil & Lime Margarita
Combine your liquid ingredients (tequila, lime juice & simple syrup) plus 3 basil leaves in a cocktail shaker. Then, shake vigorously with ice to chill.
Strain the mixture onto fresh ice in a rocks glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel and a fresh basil leaf.
Enjoy!
Basil Simple Syrup
Bring the entire mixture to a boil
Remove from the heat and let sit for 60 minutes, or until cool.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
