With cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, and a pinch of lemon zest and ginger root, this green tea is warm, spicy, and rich in health.

Ingredients

  • 2 cinnamon sticks, about 3 inches each

  • 4 green tea bags

  • ½ tsp minced fresh ginger root

  • ½ tsp grated lemon zest

  • 4 cardamom pods, crushed

  • 4 cups boiling water

  • 2 Tbsp honey

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine cinnamon sticks, green tea bags, cardamom pods, lemon zest, and grated ginger root.
  • Add boiling water and steep for 5 minutes. Strain and discard tea bags and spices.
  • Stir honey into tea and serve immediately.
