Ingredients

  • 2 Cups of Whole Milk

  • 2 Cups Half & Half

  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate

  • 4 ounces white chocolate

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon peppermint simple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder

  • Peppermint candy

  • Whipped cream

  • Fresh mint leaves

Directions

  • Heat the milk and half and half on medium heat to just below the simmering point. Remove the pan from the heat and add the chocolate. When the chocolate is melted whisk in cocoa power, simple syrup, vanilla and espresso. Whisk and pour.
  • Stir in ½ tablespoon crushed peppermint candy and top with whipped cream and fresh mint leaves.
