With piney Rosemary and warm Cinnamon Simple Syrup, this recipe really brings out the best in your bourbon. An upscale variation of an Old Fashioned, this cocktail brings woody notes with slight hints of sweetness to the table. We advise that you use your premium bourbon for this drink.

Ingredients

  • 3 tsp Cinnamon Simple Syrup

  • 3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters

  • 2 oz of bourbon

  • 1 Orange Peel

  • Rosemary, for garnish

Directions

  • Add Cinnamon Simple Syrup (or cinnamon and rosemary simple syrups) and bitters to an oldfashioned glass.
  • Swirl syrup and bitters together.
  • Add bourbon, ice, and orange peel.
  • Stir thoroughly.
  • Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and enjoy!
