This slightly irreverent and spicy jalapeno margarita recipe has weekend vibes written all over it. With lime juice and sweet agave nectar to set off your freshly harvested jalapeno, this cocktail is perfectly balanced and tastes delicious. You simply can’t have a margarita without chips & guac on the side. This guacamole recipe complements your cocktail perfectly and contains delicious cilantro!
Kosher Salt
Ice cubes
4 fl oz tequila
2 fl oz triple sec
1 Tbsp agave nectar
½ jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
1 lime, cut into wedges
Cilantro sprigs
Pour ¼ to ½ inch salt onto a shallow plate. Wet the rim of your margarita glass with water and dip into salt. Fill with ice and set aside.
Pour tequila, triple sec, lime juice, agave nectar, and jalapeno into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover and shake until outside has frosted. Strain into glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge, cilantro, and enjoy!
