The opportunity to tend to a plot on a lunch hour or attend a cooking class that uses fresh-grown ingredients is hugely interesting to potential hires. In a time where work stretches beyond the constraints of 9-5, it’s important to emphasize that even at the office, there can be tastes of something comforting and engaging.
Office gardens are indicative of a company culture that values physical and mental health. With 10% of employees saying that they are more likely to stay in jobs that value work-life balance, it’s critical to consider how your company is emphasizing its health-conscious culture.
