Some Halloween decorations simply fill a space. Others bring it to life.
Meet Bloomitures™—Gardenuity’s limited-edition collection of hand-finished Halloween amaryllis bulbs. Part horticulture, part artistry and entirely alive, each ghost, jack-o’-lantern and skeleton begins as a playful piece of seasonal décor and gradually transforms as green shoots emerge, stems stretch upward and brilliant Sovereign amaryllis flowers unfold.
They are little works of art that bloom.

A New Kind of Living Halloween Décor
Bloomitures are created to bring artistry, personality and life to Halloween decorating. Each one begins as a carefully cultivated amaryllis bulb before being individually hand-dipped in wax, sculpted and painted by artisans in Peru.
The finished creation is both a decorative accent and something wonderfully alive—a hand-finished work of living art that changes from one day to the next.
Display a Bloomiture on a mantel, bookshelf, desk, entry table or Halloween tablescape. No soil, planting or watering is needed to produce its first blooms. Simply place it in your favorite spot and enjoy watching its growing story unfold.

Halloween Amaryllis Bulbs Years in the Making
Long before an artisan begins sculpting or painting, each Bloomiture bulb has already been years in the making.
The amaryllis bulbs are grown and carefully tended in Peru, where each one is planted by hand and monitored throughout its growing journey. As the bulbs mature, they are lifted, moved and replanted year after year in refreshed soil.
This thoughtful process replenishes the nutrients surrounding the bulbs and gives them the time and care they need to grow larger, stronger and ready to produce spectacular flowers.
Once mature, each bulb is harvested and prepared by hand. Artisans then work carefully around the living bulb—hand-dipping, sculpting and painting each design while protecting its ability to grow and bloom.
“Seeing firsthand what goes into growing and preparing each bulb changed the way I think about the bloom,” said Donna Letier, co-founder and CEO of Gardenuity. “By the time a Bloomiture reaches someone’s home, it has already been tended for years and passed through many caring hands. The flowers are the beautiful culmination of that patience, knowledge and care.”
Meet the Debut Bloomitures Collection
The first Bloomitures collection arrives for fall with three hand-sculpted and hand-painted designs.
The Ghost

Sweet, playful and just spooky enough, the white ghost Bloomiture brings personality to an entryway, desk, mantel or Halloween candy display. Its whimsical shape makes it a charming piece of living Halloween décor for children and grown-ups alike.
The Jack-O’-Lantern

The orange jack-o’-lantern Bloomiture offers a fresh take on a fall favorite. It adds the familiar warmth of a pumpkin—with the unexpected delight of watching an amaryllis grow and bloom from the top.
The Skeleton

With its black-and-white details and spirited character, the skeleton Bloomiture makes a memorable accent for a Halloween dinner party, bookshelf, desktop or Día de los Muertos display.
What Color Will Bloomitures Bloom?
Each Halloween Bloomiture comes to life with brilliant Sovereign amaryllis flowers.

Known for their vibrant orange-red color, Sovereign blooms create a dramatic contrast with the imaginative hand-painted form below. As the stems rise and the flowers begin to open, the display becomes more extraordinary every day.
Do Bloomitures Need Water or Soil?
Bloomitures require no soil, planting or watering to produce their first flowers. Each waxed amaryllis bulb contains the stored energy it needs to grow and bloom.
Place your Bloomiture in a well-lit indoor location and rotate it regularly as the stem grows. Then enjoy watching its transformation from hand-finished Halloween décor into a spectacular floral display.
Can You Plant a Bloomiture After It Blooms?
Yes. The growing story does not have to end when the season does.
After the flowers have finished blooming, the sculpted wax exterior can be carefully removed and the bulb can be planted. With proper care and patience, the amaryllis bulb may continue growing and have the opportunity to bloom again.
Living Art That Continues to Evolve
The magic of a Bloomiture is not found in a single moment. It is in the transformation.
First, it is a hand-finished seasonal accent. Then a green shoot appears. A stem begins to stretch upward. Buds form and, eventually, abundant Sovereign flowers open above the sculpted bulb.
The result is living décor in its truest form: art that evolves, blooms and creates a new moment of discovery each day.
Brought to Life by Caring Hands
Behind every Bloomiture is a community of experienced growers and artisans whose patience, horticultural knowledge and craftsmanship make the collection possible.
From planting and replanting each bulb over several years to harvesting, preparing, dipping, sculpting and painting the finished design, every step is completed with care for the living bulb and the potential held inside.
Their work can be seen in every hand-finished detail—and felt in the joy of every bloom.
Make Halloween Come Alive
Style one Bloomiture as a playful accent or bring the ghost, jack-o’-lantern and skeleton together to create a complete Halloween display.
