One of our favorite ways to enjoy fresh parsley is to make a Chimichurri sauce. This Chimichurri Sauce is great on steaks, grilled vegetables, chicken, and tacos. It is simple to make and this Argentinian-inspired green sauce is fresh, tangly, and can be pulled together in under 10 minutes. The best part is being able to say “I grew this”.
Chimichurri is a traditional Argentine and Uruguayan sauce or marinade typically used for grilled meats. It is a vibrant, herbaceous sauce known for its fresh, tangy, and slightly spicy flavor profile.

½ cup fresh Italian leaf parsley
2 tablespoons fresh oregano
1 garlic glove chopped
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
⅓ cup of extra-virgin olive oil
½ tsp fresh lemon
Red pepper flakes, fresh jalapenos, or tajin for heat and flavor
Salt and pepper to taste
