Sip of the Week: Lemon Verbena + Orange Slices

From the Garden to Your Glass
This week’s refreshing recipe comes from Heather Noland — who shared her favorite way to hydrate with intention: a bright infusion of lemon verbena and fresh orange slices.

It’s a simple way to elevate your water ritual with ingredients you can grow — or harvest from your local garden or market. The citrus adds brightness, while the lemon verbena brings a calming, citrusy aroma known for supporting digestion and relaxation.

Sip of the Week Recipe: Lemon Verbena + Orange Water

Ingredients:

  • 4–5 fresh lemon verbena leaves (lightly crushed to release oils)
  • 2–3 orange slices
  • 16–24 oz of cold water
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add the lemon verbena and orange slices to a large glass or pitcher.
  2. Fill with cold water and let steep for at least 15–30 minutes.
  3. Add ice if desired. Enjoy throughout the day as a refreshing reset.

Why It Works:

  • 🍊 Oranges are rich in vitamin C and natural sweetness
  • 🌿 Lemon verbena supports digestion and stress relief
  • 💧 Staying hydrated helps boost energy, focus, and skin health

Make It a Ritual:

“My days are full, but taking two minutes to prepare something beautiful and nourishing helps me slow down and reconnect — with myself and with what matters.” — Heather Noland

Start your day by preparing your infused water while checking in on your garden. Mist your herbs, breathe in the lemony scent of verbena, and take a moment for yourself before the rush begins.

“Small sips. Big impact.”
