Mint Tea with a Twist

Sometimes the most nourishing thing we make is the simplest. This mint tea is less about a recipe and more about a pause—a warm cup that invites you to slow down and breathe.

Ingredients

  • Fresh mint leaves, gently rinsed
  • Hot water
  • Honey, to taste
  • Fresh lemon juice or a lemon slice

How to Make It

  1. Prepare the mint
Lightly bruise a small handful of fresh mint leaves with your fingers or the back of a spoon to release their natural oils.
  2. Steep
Place the mint in a mug and pour hot (not boiling) water over the leaves. Let steep for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Finish with warmth and brightness
Stir in honey to taste and add a squeeze of fresh lemon or a lemon slice.
  4. Pause and enjoy
Sip slowly. Let the warmth settle.

Gardenuity Tip

Mint grows beautifully in grow bags and is one of those plants that gives generously. A few leaves are all you need to turn an everyday moment into something grounding and restorative.

This is the kind of tea that pairs well with quiet mornings, early evenings, and February reflections.
