Homemade Pizza Recipe | Arugula and Fresno Chili

There’s nothing better than a homemade pizza recipe for family night dinners. This fresh pizza topped with arugula and fresco chili is the latest recipe we just. can’t. stop. eating.

Melted cheese (parmesan, mozzarella, and feta) on top of a crispy crust topped with fresh greens…it’s a homemade pizza recipe for every Sunday night. Besides, if it has fresh greens on every bite, it’s basically a salad…right?

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pizza dough, room temperature

  • Olive oil

  • 12 oz fresh mozzarella, torn into pieces

  • ⅓ cup fresh crumbled feta

  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced

  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  • 1 red Fresco chili, thinly sliced

  • Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Red pepper flakes, to taste

  • ½ cups parmesan cheese, shredded

  • 2 cups fresh arugula

  • ½ lemon

How-To:

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F.

  2. Form pizza dough into two circle shapes.

  3. Brush dough with a drizzle of olive oil. Top with torn mozzarella, feta, onion, garlic, and red Fresco chili. Season with salt, pepper, parmesan, and red pepper flakes.

  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden.

  5. Remove from oven, top with fresh arugula, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and a little fresh lemon juice.
