Homemade herbal salt is one of the best flavor enhancers and makes for a wonderful gift. All you need is some coarse sea salt and freshly harvested herbs.

Homemade Herbal Salt, using a variety of herbs from your garden

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Coarse Sea Salt

  • ½ Cup of Packed Fresh Leaves (you can always mix two or more fresh herbs together)

Directions

  • Place salt and fresh herbs in a food processor. Pulse to grind salt and herbs until the desired consistency.
  • Place mixture onto a cookie sheet, bake at 200 for 60 minutes, stirring once.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool and store in a glass jar with a tight lid.
