Gardenuity | What We Do.

We’re new on the block. So, we’re not surprised you have questions and we want to answer them for you. We’re giving you five answers to the five most frequently asked questions about Gardenuity.

1. What is Gardenuity?

Simply put, Gardenuity is a growing system delivery service that makes gardening possible and easy for everyone—urbanite, parent, and gardening rookie alike.

You get online and choose which fresh herb or veggie you want to grow, and we send you everything (and we mean everything) you need to get growing immediately. This includes soil, compost, plant food, portable plant containers, seeds squares or a live plant, and simple growing instructions. And it all comes in this tidy little box with labels. No mess, no stress, no experience or dirt needed.

2. Why Gardenuity?

Where do we start?

First, we make sure you’re doing it right.

Gardenuity Match sets you up with the right plant, at the right time, with the right garden elements so you start out strong. Meaning, we literally won’t let you buy something that won’t grow.

Then, every grow kit comes with simple planting and growing instructions so you know exactly how to get growing.

Plus, Concierge keeps you and your plant on track as you grow. If there’s inclement weather coming, we’ll shoot you an email telling you to bring the plant inside. If it’s super-duper hot, we’ll tell you to water a little extra. We’ll even send you reminders to feed your plant.

Secondly, we believe in growing the good stuff.

We’ve got super talented friends—horticulturalists, local farmers, and engineers—who have helped us help you grow the freshest and best ingredients around. Everything is customized specifically for you and your plant’s needs.

3. What you get:

  • Compost is pH-level-specific for your plant
  • Plant food is all natural, organic, and non-GMO
  • Root food is all plant-based
  • Grow bags are specifically designed to encourage healthy growth
  • High-quality coir is sodium-free
  • Live plants are sustainably grown
  • Seed Squares are non-GMO and organic

(Psst! All of the things listed above come in the growing kit.)

Plus, everything is pre-portioned so there’s no waste or guesswork involved. With us, you’re basically begging for growing success.

4. So…flowers, right?

Nope.

We get this a lot. We’re really into fresh foodstuffs, so we only offer fresh herbs and veggies right now. (And fruits, depending on how you classify tomatoes.)

And you’ll love gardening your own food. Growing your own eats leads to a healthier life, new kitchen inspiration, and meaningful social experiences—think dinner parties!

5. But I kill everything…

No, you’ve killed everything so far. Huge reason plants die is because you just didn’t know, and you got the wrong components.

We eradicate the knowledge blanks, and we solve the ingredient mystery. Hence, Gardenuity Match, Concierge, and our custom-made growing system.

So, black thumbs—you’re in the clear!

6. I’m in. How do I get started?

Easy.

Herbs

Veggies

The Sage (in case you missed it, that’s this blog) will be the place we post growing tips, cooking tips, and fun plant tidbits. There’ll be inspiring stories about people and the earth, recipes we love, and generally spotlights on stuff we think is awesome. In other words, just a little food for thought while you’re growing your plant.

Want to learn about a specific thing? Have something worth sharing? Just give us a holler, and we’ll try and make it happen on this blog.
