Celebrating Mother’s Day – Quotes From Our Team Members

This year, we wanted to take a pause and shine the spotlight on all of the mother figures in our lives. With a year like 2020 now behind us, it is time to reflect on the motherly support that carries us through to brighter days. COVID-19 is certainly not behind us yet, but we have been able to adapt to a new normal – this could not have happened without the perseverance and tenderness of mother figures across the world.

As this Mother’s Day rolls around, be sure to take a little time out of your week to express your gratitude to those who fill the role of mom in your life. Remember, a little bit of love goes a long way.

Celebrate all Mothers

The role of motherhood is one of the most precious and difficult positions an individual can take on. Regardless of traditional definitions of motherhood, think of Mother’s Day as a time to celebrate the person in your life who lifts you up – the person who has nurtured you, fostered your growth, and helped to turn your dreams into realities.

We all have a mother figure who deserves to be celebrated this weekend. Motherhood comes in all different shapes and sizes; it fills different voids for different people. The important thing to keep in mind is that your mom deserves to be celebrated, so don’t let this holiday pass without a word of thanks (and hopefully a big hug!).

From the Gardenuity Team

This year, our team here at Gardenuity wanted to share some bits of wisdom that have been passed down from our mothers. Keep reading to find some inspiration, and to see some cute photos of our team members enjoying time with their moms.

So many of us carry our mother’s advice with us wherever we go and the older we get the more we realize how these words of wisdom impact our daily lives as leaders, parents, teachers, and colleagues. As we read the quotes above, we are struck by the simplicity and strength that comes through.  Generational similarities, signs of resiliency, and faith.  And so, this Mother’s Day it is good to revisit the famous quote “Life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a mother.” Author Unknown
