If you don’t take care of it, it dies. Gardening is really straightforward this way. So, when you take on the task of gardening, you assume responsibility. Gardens are largely dependent on you, so there’s no such thing as an emotionally distant gardener. Success of all kinds feels good. But in the era of technology, the success you can hold is a bit of a rarity. We might love promotions or learning new things (both incredible types of successes), but there is a unique satisfaction in holding a freshly harvested pepper or tomato.
