Fancy AF Franklin Rose Mojito Recipe | Gardenuity

Nothing properly rings in a celebration quite like a fresh, zesty mojito made with ingredients from your own patio garden. This week, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix of Vanderpump Rules, to celebrate the one year anniversary of their cocktail recipe book, Fancy AF.

This book is a collection of beautifully crafted cocktails that are made for every occasion imaginable. On top of that, enjoy a personal story that comes along with each recipe and sheds some light on why Ariana and Tom chose to include it in their collection. Join us on December 3 at 7 pm cst  as we co-host a virtual celebration with Ariana and Tom to celebrate our collaboration with them – don’t miss out!

The Mojito

The Mojito is a cocktail that holds a spot on any tasteful cocktail menu. While most say that the mojito originated in Cuba, it is difficult to trace it back to its roots entirely. That said, the original use for the beverage was a mixture of a type of moonshine rum, fresh mint, lime, and sugar cane syrup in order to ward off sickness.

Today, we enjoy the mojito in many different forms; one of the amazing things about this cocktail is that there are endless possibilities. You can customize your mojito to fit the palette of you and your guests by sticking to the classic ingredients, and getting creative with what you add in. Try out your hand at the mojito with this delicious recipe by Tom and Ariana from Fancy AF.

The Franklin Rose Mojito is a classic, timeless cocktail recipe from Tom and Ariana. Named after one of the tour guides they met on a trip to Cuba, they learned from Franklin that “you gotta have a real mojito.” His advice to Ariana and Tom was to always use aged rum (seven years or more), crushed ice and top it off with bitters. How to Enjoy your Mojito

Serve up this delicious and refreshing cocktail with a homemade chips and salsa recipe. If you’re feeling extra creative, whip up a batch of ceviche to pair with your mojito! When it comes to the cool flavor of the mint, and the sweet, tanginess of the fresh lime, ceviche provides the perfect flavor pairing for your mojito night.
